Land of the Prophets

Iraq is metioned multiple times in the Bible second only to Israel. In the Bible it is called Babylon, Land of Shinar, and Mesopotamia. The word Mesopotamia means between two rivers, in this case the Tigris and the Euphrates rivers. The name Iraq means "country with deep roots", and indeed it does.

The prophets preached in Iraq, Israel was led captive to Iraq, and today we send troops to Iraq.
 
Iraq has everything to do with End Times bible prophecy. We have fought two major wars there now. Soon the Angels that were bound there by the Lord will be released, but not before their appointed time, and then it really will be like in the days of Noah.

Before this thing is over the nations of the world will be in the Holy Land. Not the small group that the U.S. has there, but a much larger group of nations. They will surround Israel if you are into bible prophecy then this is the moment that the Lord returns to save Israel and set up his 1000 year millennial kingdom.
