The Lord is in the habit of hiding his mysteries, his wealth.

The Lord is not a respecter of persons, what he does for one he will do for another. Wealth is a blessing of the Lord, and it is the Lord that gives us the power to be wealthy. I am not saying that all wealthy people are of the Lord as it can be plainly seen that there are many full of greed and that have gone astray from the Lord, but if you would read the word of God you can come to no other conclusion than that the Lord uses wealth to bless those he loves.
Abraham was a very wealthy man, he had hundreds of servants, he was not perfect but the Lord considered him a righteous man because he believed. So belief is a qualifier before God and if you would dare to believe then the Lord would call you righteous, and if he would call you righteous then you would qualify for the blessings of Abraham.
Now the Lord does not like laziness at all, he abhors it. So he hides his mysteries and his secrets. He hides his wealth from those that would just show up and take it. He makes us seek it, he makes us change our lives, he makes us at the very least try and to put forth an effort.

Jesus Christ taught in parables, which were a type of story, he did not teach the secrets of God plainly to all of the people. When he was alone with his disciples they asked him why he did not just tell the people plainly, why did he hide things from them? Jesus answered them and told them that if I told them plainly then they might understand and be saved(Matt. 13:10-15).
Wow!!! That is a big Wow!!
Is this the same gospel you have been told is for everyone? Is this the same Jesus you have been told died for all of mankind? Apparently there is a bit more to the story than meets the eye. I will tell you this much, “actions have consequences”, just remember that before you do what you know is wrong you may have to pay a price and this price may include your children as well. I know, I know you do not believe that your sins can affect your children’s lives but you are wrong.

Let me just tell you something that you can relate to, I think everyone knows someone like this or a story similar to this. Lets just say you adopted a child who came from a bad background, his real parents are thieves and drug addicts and worse. You raise this child in a nice home with lots of love, the environment is just wonderful. So how then when the child is grown does he end up like his “blood” parents? How does he end up acting and behaving just like two people that he never met? He or she ends up in trouble, is using drugs, is stealing, and is doing a whole lot more. How does this happen? Well I am trying to tell you how, “actions have consequences”.
Before you do what you know is wrong count the cost, that is what the bible will teach you, count the cost.
Ok, so Jesus would not teach plainly to the masses because they might understand and be saved, I still want to say Wow!!! God hides his secrets!!!

In the Gospel of John(John 6:53-66) Jesus begins to teach the people that they have to eat his flesh and drink his blood to have eternal life and literally that is how he said it. Now this was a large group, and he did not tell the masses that he was talking of spiritual things, but later he did tell those that were close to him. To the masses he sounded like a nut, they thought he actually wanted them to eat his flesh and drink his blood
What were the results of his teaching?
It is written that many turned away and would follow him no more!!! Wow!!! Jesus actually turned people away; he used a teaching to sort them out
You see God will not give his mysteries or his wealth to just anyone. First you have to believe and then you have to seek. There is a price; there is a qualifier. Will you seek the Lord; will you put in the time needed to get his attention? Will you pass the tests when they come? And they will come. What will you do?

So it is the Lords habit to hide his precious things from us and to only reveal the secrets to those that he deems worthy.
In the word of the Lord there is a number mentioned there it is 666. You have heard of it, most believe it is the number of evil, the number of the devil or of the anti-Christ and his beast.
Is that the only time the bible refers to this number
Is that really its only meaning?
Or is it mentioned another time? Hmmm? I think if you would read and be honest with yourself you will find it a second time in the bible. It is mentioned in the Old Testament. Solomon collected 666 talents of gold every year. Is that a mistake? Did the writers get it wrong? Is it an evil thing? I think after you read the passage that you would agree it is not an evil thing at all but rather a blessing. So how can the same number be two different things? How can it be recognized by the world as an evil number but also be used by the Lord to signify a vast financial blessing like Solomon’s? I will tell you how; it is because the Lord hides his wealth, his mysteries. What better place can you think of to hide the secrets of great wealth than behind a veneer of evil? No one will touch it, no one will seek it out, it is safe from the masses, mission accomplished.

What about the number 13, is it an unlucky number, like people believe it to be? Friday the 13th? Or is it a very blessed number just hidden behind a veneer of fear so that the masses won’t touch it.
Bar Mitzvah at age 13; 13 months in the Jewish lunar calendar; 13 attributes of God. In 1948 Israel regained its independence and the very first provincial government had 13 members for good luck. Maimonides (the Rambam) formulated his 13 principles of Judaism. There were 13 colonies in Colonial America, 13 stars and stripes on the original American flag. Look at a U.S. $1 bill, 13 stars, 13 stripes, 13 steps, 13 arrows, and 13 leaves on the olive branch. What do you think? Is the number 13 an unlucky number? I think you get my point; God hides his mysteries from the masses but if you will seek you will find, that is the promise.
